I can’t begin to tell you how much she means to me or how she delights every fibre of my being.  I could sit and stare and watch her all day and not blink an eye.  I sit and wonder at her beauty, inside and out, her creativity, her genuine caring & gentle spirit, her zest for life, her simple acceptance for the simple things in life.  I wonder about her dreams, her future – what will she become, what experiences will she encounter, what dreams will she fulfill, who she will marry … but most of all I pray!  I pray that she will never spend a day where she doesn’t follow God, that every step she takes will be in His perfect will and His protection.  I pray that she will be all He has destined her to be.  I pray that she will stay true to herself and cherish those qualities God has placed within her – that she would let no-0ne rob her of those things … and then I trust.  I trust God because I know that He loves her even more than I ever could and that He is more committed to her success in life than I am.  I thank God … that I can trust in that!

So a “Happy Birthday” shout out to Brian, hope you had a wonderfully awesome day and I sincerely hope you’ve put your feet up now Claudette!

Ok, so I need to explain a little because I can’t add captions to each image …

• Brian loves skydiving and all things adventurous so it was only fitting that a colourful parachute adorned the inside of the gazebo.
• He also hand built the fish pond that the kids are fascinated by every time they visit.
• Sarah was enjoying her cake so much that “Sonny” wanted some too … looks like he enjoyed her little ‘jig’ dance too while the older kids enjoyed a game of chess.
• The ploy to get Brian out of the house for the morning so we could set up was an early morning fishing trip!!!  The guys didn’t catch any fish – well not that they could keep but the did catch some crabs!
• Dont’ know if Brian was more surprised to find out he had a “surprise party” or that he had arrived home in his finest “sweaty & smelly” fishing attire to a house full of guests!!!  LOL
• Yes! … the food was yummy  =)
