The thought of taking our school’s Year 12 Seniors photos for their graduation ball brought back sooo many memories of my own Year 12 formal.

The night was a quaint occasion down at Glenelg overlooking the foreshore where it was delightful to see each student grace the entrance like swans with a hint of hesitation & anticipation but smiles as wide as the ocean.  The girls squealed with delight as they saw each other and the boys were charming and suave as they nodded & winked the familiar “how’s it goin?” nod.

The girls looked so elegant and beautiful in their ball gowns & likewise the guys in their dapper suits … a world away from the usual school uniform we’re so accustomed to seeing them in.

For privacy reasons I cannot show the Year 12 students but here’s a tiny snippet of the night …
